There was a girl who traveled the lands.
She was as wise as she was beautiful.
She was always in search of what her heart sought.
Wandering, ever looking, never finding.
On her journey she attracted followers.
They followed her for her beauty alone.
She paid no notice to them, for she was lost in thought.
Wandering, ever looking, never finding.
She walked over marshes, they got boats.
She passed through deserts, they got camels.
And in the end they all would get lost and lose the way.
Wandering, ever looking, never finding.
I too began to trail her in her travel.
Except I had no boats or camels.
All I had was my wits and my devotion to remain.
Wandering, ever looking, never finding.
She seemed to walk on water.
Traveling easily over the marsh lands.
When other's had their boats, I could only wade and float.
Wandering, ever looking, never finding.
She seemed to glide over deserts.
Passing effortlessly over the barren sands.
When others had their camels, I could only strain and hope.
Wandering, ever looking, never finding.
I never turned away from her in trouble.
Even when the others abandoned her early.
Despite the trials of the path I never let myself lose her.
Wandering, ever looking, never finding.
I knew I couldn't do it forever.
I could never make her stop for me.
And in the end I couldn't keep up and I lost her.
Wandering, ever looking, never finding.
She still travels the lands.
She is as wise as she is beautiful.
She is still in search of what her heart sought.
Wandering, ever looking, never finding.
Perhaps she is a ghost.
A spirit who is lost from life.
She may never find what has enveloped her thought.
Wandering, ever looking, never finding.

When every word you ever said came true
All I missed in all of this was you

At the beauty of this piece.
You created the image of what you saw.
Now my feelings wont decease.
Your story was blunt and true to pace,
I appreciate that so much.
Inside me, it opened a special space,
That it reached inside to touch.
*I really did like this one because it was so true, you know without the heroic ending of the guy getting the girl. It was pure, and you presented it so nicely.

By the way, did you post your comment the first time and it didn't appear afterwards? That's been happening to me all the time!
